Meet our teachers, Belen and Yoshi. Belen has been teaching English classes for MHF in San Salvador since 2012 and Yoshi has lead her class in Cojutepeque since 2018. These ladies are integral parts of the success of this project has in helping students learn English, secure better jobs and get scholarships for college.
The purpose of our English Academy is to give Salvadorians an opportunity to learn a second language. Speaking English provides them with a skill that could lead to a better paying job. This academy is a one year program, 5 days a week for 2.5 hours each day.
